Obedience Club Of Daytona

The Obedience Club of Daytona is a not-for-profit club that offers dog training through education. The club is located at 1276 8th Street in Daytona Beach, Florida, and has an indoor facility where classes are held.

The club provides various classes, including Puppy Classes for dogs up to 6 months old, Basic Manners classes for dogs over 6 months old, and Intermediate classes. They also offer Scent Work classes, Fun Agility classes, and Beginner and Advanced Dance classes. Additionally, they have a Conformation class and a Paws 'N Motion Canine Freestyle Dance Crew.

The club's instructors are volunteers, and most of them have earned AKC titles for their dogs and compete in obedience and agility competitions. Many instructors attend dog-training and dog-related clinics, workshops, and seminars to stay updated on the latest positive-training methods.

The Obedience Club of Daytona has a group of Therapy Dogs and handlers who visit local nursing homes and hospitals. To participate in this experience, dogs must be at least one year old and have basic obedience skills. The club also has a New Handler Class that focuses on preparing handler-dog teams to confidently enter and show at an AKC Conformation show.

The club can be contacted through their email, phone number, or mailing address. New members are welcome to join, and they can observe classes before registering.
